Koala Outback is a mixed media installation that draws on personal experiences to explore the relationship between animal loss and technology. Soft sculptural forms, found objects, synthetic textiles and vibrant colours are used to construct a playful installation that reimagines Australian natural environment. Koala Outback deploys conflicting motifs and forms as well as a mash up of colours to bring attention to the world that we live in.
