Riley is serious about design that doesn’t take itself too seriously. His practice is underpinned by experimentation and working in a collaborative and dynamic workflow. His main design interests include branding, typography, and animation.
Riley’s major project focuses on the exploration of grid systems and typography in design, to gain a better understanding of the role these two factors play in the communication of a business’s values to its audience. The Durston studio brand experiments with the ways that a brand identity can be translated across various mediums, including three-dimensional space.
