As a media artist I work mainly with the moving image and sound design. I am fascinated by prospect of creating a different world through motion pictures. I am interested in the concept of motion and how it can change an artwork. My work explores the relationship between paintings and digital animations. I raise questions around the implications to painting when it comes to life as a digital animation.
I aim to use media arts to educate audiences about indigenous culture. I draw from traditional symbols and music to explore my own contemporary indigenous background.
Ngadyung is an aboriginal artwork created in a non-traditional by way of digital animation. Digital media provides an alternative platform for expression and education of Aboriginal culture for contemporary audiences.
